U.S. equity markets took their cue once again from Greece and China this week. Investors weighed two major macro events: Greece attempting to negotiate a bailout extension (without wanting to implement further austerity measures) and China’s equity market tumbling, even after the PBOC stepped in to buy up shares and put strict restrictions on short-selling.

Risk Appetite Review
Concerns over Greece and China sent equities into a tumble, with SPY, high-beta SPHB, and the equal-weight RSP logging in a negative five-day return. The low volatility fund did, however, manage to eke out a small gain.
Major Index Review
U.S. and global markets ended in the red for the week. Over the trailing month, emerging markets are the worst performer, though all of the other major indexes on this list are also in negative territory.
Foreign Equity Review
All of the emerging market, single country ETFs ended in the red this week. On the month, all of the below ETFs are down, with the exception of India.
Commodities Review
Commodities across the board ended in negative territory for the week. Over the trailing 1-month period, the agriculture ETF is the only fund that is positive.
Currency Review
The U.S. dollar ended in positive territory once again this week, pushing other currencies lower, with the exception of the yen.
